Everybody experiences each treatment differently, so it's very hard to say what it will feel like for you. I hope that whatever treatment you have, you'll find you're able to relax and rebalance, tune back into your body, and receive the support you need for your health and wellbeing.

Everybody experiences each treatment differently, but generally people feel relaxed and calm immediately after their treatment.
Sometimes immediately after a Bowen treatment people can feel a bit light headed. This is why at the end of a Bowen treatment I ask you to sit up slowly and will always ask how you are feeling before I get you to stand up properly. If you do feel lightheaded this feeling usually passes within a couple of moments.
How people feel in the hours and days that follow their treatment is different for everyone so it is difficult for me to say how you will feel.
Yes, you will be able to drive home immediately after your treatment.
Whatever treatment you have, I always recommend two key aftercare recommendations:
Depending on what happens during your treatment and how you respond, I might offer some additional aftercare advice.
Bowen
If you are coming to see me for Bowen, this will depend largely upon:
As a starting point I generally suggest 3 treatments, each a week to 2 weeks apart over a 3-4 week period. For most of my clients 3-4 treatments is enough and then they'll either opt for some regular maintenance treatments or see me as and when they need to. However, we will discuss the best treatment plan for you at your appointment.
All other treatments
For any other treatment it really depends on you. If you're seeking support for a specific issue then you might need a few back to back weekly sessions followed by some monthly maintenance sessions, once every 4-6 weeks might be perfect, or you just might want to try the treatment once. We'll discuss all of this at your first treatment and create a treatment plan that works for you.
