The Bowen Technique, also called Bowen Therapy, is one of the most effective and powerful therapies I’ve ever worked with: Many of my clients come to me and find Bowen has given them the support they need – and quickly.
It works on your fascia, the soft connective tissue including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves, that holds and binds your body together, and scientists and researchers are acknowledging the major role it plays in allowing your body to function properly.
Multi-layered and connecting all parts of the body, it might help to think about your fascia as a tablecloth. Just by tugging one corner of the tablecloth you change the position of everything on the table – and so one dysfunctional area of fascia in your body can change the position of everything in your body.
As with all the therapies I practise I don't diagnose, treat, or claim to cure any medical conditions, but problems my clients have come to me with support with include:
Lymphatic support uses the same principles as Bowen, but the primary focus of the work is to help get the lymphatic system moving.

After an initial consultation, assessments, and observations to pinpoint where I need to work, I make key moves over specific points on your body, assessing the impact of each.
During the treatment there are short pauses, where I’ll leave you to rest on your own for between 1-3 minutes, allowing you and your body to process and respond to the work. At the end of each session, we’ll discuss any additional support you might require, including after care guidance to help you make the most of your treatment.
Your initial appointment is always 60-minutes.
The length of subsequent appointments will depend on a variety of factors and will be discussed at your initial appointment.
This will depend largely upon:
As a starting point I generally suggest 3 treatments, each once a week over a 3-4 week period. For most of my clients 3-4 treatments is enough and then they'll either opt for some regular maintenance treatments or see me as and when they need to.
